YOUR VAULT · YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy, in plain sight.
The paperwork is yours. Here’s what happens when you keep it with WarrantyDaddy.
Effective September 26, 2026
Who we are
WarrantyDaddy is operated by AlorFuture Holdings. This policy covers our website, iPhone and iPad apps, and the service that stores your vault. Our company website is alorfutures.com; our app website is warrantydaddy.app.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@warrantydaddy.app. Our published company mailing address is 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, US.
What your account stores
- Account details: your name, email, account identifier, preferences, and protected sign-in credentials. Passwords are stored as hashes. If Sign in with Apple is available and you choose it, we receive your Apple account identifier and the name or email you share, including a private relay address.
- Your paperwork: selected photos, PDFs, receipts, warranty pages, product images, serial numbers, purchase facts, dates, notes, extracted summaries, and claim drafts. Documents can include personal information printed on them.
- Membership records: subscription identifiers, plan, payment status, renewal information, and entitlement dates. Apple handles App Store payment details; we do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.
- Service activity: sign-in sessions, vault activity, onboarding progress, job status, and security records needed to operate the service. Our hosting provider also processes network and operational logs.
- Communications: messages you send to support. If you activate a warranty mailbox when available, its email addresses, senders, recipients, message contents, and linked records are stored to show your conversations.
- Feedback: if you send a note from Account, we store its category, your description, an optional note about what you expected, the time, and a support status. An email address is stored only when you add one after the note is saved, so we can reply about that note.
Camera access lets you scan or photograph documents. Photo and file pickers let you select what to upload. We do not import your entire photo library or personal email inbox. We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking SDKs to follow you across other apps or websites.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, store and retrieve your originals, organize warranty details, prepare drafts you request, show important dates, verify membership, provide support, and protect the service. Your records are linked to your account so they are available on your devices.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. WarrantyDaddy is an organizer: a manufacturer determines coverage and claim outcomes. AI summaries are suggestions to review against the original documents.
AI reading is a choice
When you allow AI reading in the capture screen, the selected photos or PDFs and their contents are sent to OpenAI to extract purchase and warranty details. The results are stored in your account alongside the originals. If AI is temporarily unavailable, approved uploads wait on our server and are processed when it is connected.
The app asks for your permission before each capture batch is uploaded for AI reading. To avoid sending a batch, leave permission off and close the capture screen. Contact us to withdraw permission for a pending batch; already processed information cannot be recalled from a completed request.
Our extraction requests disable saved response storage through the API. That setting does not mean zero provider retention: OpenAI may retain data for security or other purposes under its applicable service terms and data controls. See OpenAI’s business data information. Do not include passwords, full card details, or unrelated sensitive documents in a scan.
Optional emails and claim assistance
In Account → Email preferences, you can choose getting-started tips, reminders based on saved warranty dates, and claim follow-up reminders. We verify your sign-in email with a code before sending optional emails. AgentMail processes the recipient address, message content and delivery events. We record preferences, delivery failures and unsubscribe requests; we do not enable email-open tracking. You can turn these emails off in Account or use the unsubscribe link.
If you allow AI claim drafting, OpenAI receives the item details, issue description, current draft and relevant saved conversation to prepare text for your review. This is a separate choice from AI photo reading. Drafting does not send a message. You choose the recipient and original documents and approve the saved message before a claim email is sent through AgentMail. We keep the approval, selected-document fingerprints, task history and delivery state with your claim. Email delivery is not confirmation that a manufacturer accepted the claim. Some manufacturers require you to complete their own website steps.
Verification codes expire after 15 minutes. Delivery-event reconciliation records are retained for up to seven days; saved claim activity and delivery records remain with your account and are included in your records export. Providers retain their own copies under their policies. Messages already sent to a manufacturer cannot be recalled by deleting your vault.
Services that help run your vault
- Railway: hosts our website, API, account database, uploaded originals, and backups.
- Apple: distributes the iOS app, handles App Store subscriptions, and supports Apple sign-in when enabled. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to its services.
- OpenAI: processes the files you permit for AI reading and the claim details and conversations you permit for drafting when those features are connected.
- AgentMail: handles our support inbox and optional warranty mailboxes. Messages sent to support and mailbox information and communications for a warranty address you activate are processed by AgentMail. The app shows availability before you connect a warranty address.
External product pictures may load from the manufacturer or retailer hosting them; that host receives a normal image request, including network information such as your IP address. Sending or sharing a claim makes the selected information available to the recipient you choose.
Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to address security incidents, or as part of a business transfer. Service providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Storage and deletion
Original files are stored on our server, not only on your phone. We use HTTPS, account access controls, and protected sign-in storage. The vault is not end-to-end encrypted; our service needs access to process the files you authorize.
Your account and vault remain until you delete them. Canceling a subscription does not delete your documents: existing records remain available to read and export. Deleting your account removes its live account and vault records after connected-provider deletion or revocation succeeds. If that step fails, the app reports an error so you can retry or contact support.
Recovery copies are separate from the live database. Scheduled Railway backups currently have six-day retention. Manual recovery snapshots do not automatically expire and may remain until removed; contact us to request their deletion. Apple and other providers may retain their own transaction or security records under their policies or legal obligations.
Feedback and App Store reviews
Anyone signed in can send feedback from Account, including people without a paid membership. The note is saved before we ask for an email. You can skip the email. If saving the address fails, the note stays saved. That address is for a reply about that note. It is not a marketing signup, and it does not verify or replace your account email. We do not send a message when you add it. We do not use your account email as permission to contact you about the note.
Your account export includes feedback you sent. Deleting your account deletes that feedback from the live database.
Account also links to Apple's App Store review page. That link is there for every signed-in person. We do not hide it based on stars, sentiment, or membership, and we do not receive the rating you give Apple. A private note to WarrantyDaddy is not an App Store review.
Your choices
In Account, you can update your profile, review sessions, export vault records, and delete your account. Download original files from the relevant item; a records export does not replace downloading your originals. Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple Account settings. Account deletion does not cancel Apple billing.
You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify account ownership before fulfilling a request. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
The app is intended for adults managing their purchases and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. Material changes to sharing or permissions will be explained before the affected feature is used.
